PARTNERSHIP WITH UNIVERSITY OF MAINE'S 4-H CAMP
AND LEARNING CENTER AT BRYANT POND
 |
PKA and the University of Maine's 4-H Camp and Learning Center at Bryant Pond have developed a partnership that benefits children in MSAD #72. Programs offered at Bryant Pond are designed to inspire stewardship of our environment by fostering a "sense of wonder" as well as an understanding of what it means to live sustainably on a planet with limited resources. The Bryant Pond curriculum is a unique blend of fun, conservation education, and instruction in outdoor skills. |
During the school year, staff members from Bryant Pond come to our schools to provide programs on nature and outdoor skills. Overnight summer camp is available to PKA students at a significantly reduced cost.
